Grace Lee

Grace Lee joins as the newest Board Member of the Scholarship Foundation in 2021.  She is a John F. Kennedy High alum and the 2002 recipient of the Eva Lutz Memorial Scholarship.  After graduating college from UCLA and starting her career, Grace created her own scholarship with
the Foundation that awarded students choosing the route of community college due to financial circumstances.

As the Head of Human Resources, Grace spearheaded and created the department at the biotechnology company where she currently works at.  She has been a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) since 2020 and in 2021 has also started to pursue her Master of Human Resources and Industrial Relations degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.  Her favorite parts of being in HR are helping people find and realize their potential and creating opportunities for growth in their careers.

For fun, Grace loves to travel with her friends and family.  She hopes to visit all 50 states one day as well as travel internationally at least once a year.  The trips are usually aligned and instigated with the desire of trying out the delicious local cuisine of the destination.  She is also an avid blood and platelet donor with the American Red Cross and hopes to one day join the 100 Blood Donor Club.
